Mattress Mack is at it again. The popular Houston furniture store owner, Jim McIngvale, has decided to wager on March Madness in the hopes of breaking his losing streak. The furniture store owner often provides promotions within his Houston store that are connected to his big wagers to drum up business and benefit his customers. He is doing the same this go-round, bringing in more customers who are hopeful that their purchases will be reimbursed if Mack manages to win this March Madness bet.

This time around, customers must make specific purchases in the store involving Made in America furniture pieces, Tempur-Pedic, Sealy Sleep, or Stearns & Foster mattresses.

Mack’s Betting History

So far, 2022 has not been a good year for Mack when it comes to betting. At the time of the Super Bowl bet, like he usually does, Mack ran a promotion to provide a refund to his customers who spent $3,000 or more on mattresses and furniture if the bet was won. In speaking with David Purdum of ESPN, Mack said it broke his heart when the Bengals lost because he wanted to see his customers receive a refund, but it didn’t work out.
